GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE INTERNSHIP

About Us: Eugene Country Club is one of the premier private golf courses in the Pacific Northwest and we are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual for our Golf Course Maintenance Internship. Ranked #1 Private Club in Oregon four years in a row by Golf Week, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in golf course management and maintenance and learn from an experienced Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
  
Responsibilities:

1. Gain exposure to Golf Course construction during your internship.
2. Assist with daily maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, watering, and more!
3. Help with irrigation system maintenance and repair
4. Participate in landscape maintenance and planting
5. Operate and maintain various types of equipment
6. Ensure the course is kept in pristine condition for members and guests

 Qualifications:

1. Interest in golf course management or turfgrass science
2. Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
3. Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
5. Prefer someone enrolled in a turfgrass/agronomy program.
