2ND ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

Ranked #1 Private Club in Oregon four years in a row by Golf Week, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in golf course management and maintenance and learn from an experienced Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in the daily maintenance of the golf course.
• Supervise and lead crew on projects and weekend shifts.
• Fertilizer and chemical applications.
• Golf course setup and equipment operation.
• Irrigation system maintenance and repair
• Participate in landscape planning, maintenance and planting
• Ensure the course is kept in pristine condition for members and guests

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in golf course maintenance. 2- or 4-year turf degree preferred
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Pesticide application license or ability to obtain
