Eugene Country Club is committed to providing a fully accessible environment to ensure the dignity, independence, and enjoyment of all members and their guests.

Parking & Entrance
Accessible parking spaces are located near the main entrance, which features a ramp located to the left of the main steps.

Additionally, two electronic chair lifts are located on the Northeast side of the clubhouse, closest to our Golf Shop - one of which offers access to the club's main floor and one which moves further up towards the Women's Locker Room and our Fitness Center. To most easily access this entrance, circle the clubhouse clockwise.

Accessible Restroom Facilities
A spacious individual gender-neutral family restroom is available off of the hallway nearest the Lobby. Two individual gender-neutral bathrooms located near the Golf Shop can be accessed from outside. The restroom stalls closest to the restaurant feature wheelchair-accessible stalls and ADA-compliant grab bars.

Swimming Pool Access
Ramps are available for use both to the entrance of the pool facilities and to the main pool deck. An ADA-compliant pool lift may be used upon request.

Known Limitations
The Business Office is located up a set of stairs that is not accessible by wheelchair. If you need to speak with any of the Administrative staff, please inform the Front Desk or Host Stand and they will call the individual downstairs.

Cell phone use is allowed in all areas of the clubhouse and grounds; however, we ask that members, family members, and guests follow these guidelines when using cell phones and mobile devices anywhere on club property.

• Turn off ringer and place phone or mobile device on "vibrate" or "silent" mode

 

• When in a dining area or the Fitness Center and receiving a call, please move to an area that provides privacy and limits the distraction to others, i.e. Lobby, Library or hallway area.

 

• Calls should not be placed from inside the dining areas or Fitness Center.

 

• If you have a cell phone turned on while playing golf, please inform all members of your group that you may be using it during the round.

Members and guests have a responsibility to take care of the golf course.

• ECC's established 18-hole pace of play standard: FOUR HOURS (4:00).

 

• Repair ball marks on the greens.

 

• Replace divots or use sand/seed mix to fill divots in the fairways.

 

• Properly rake bunkers.

 

• When using a golf cart, follow all directional signs and use cart paths when designated to do so. Be especially careful not to drive in the tall fescue grass areas. The responsible operation of golf carts will help preserve the pristine condition of our playing surfaces.

 

• Deposit all litter, smoking materials, and broken tees in available containers on the course.

*Management has been instructed to deny privileges to anyone not properly attired.

Casual Attire | Acceptable in all areas of the clubhouse unless otherwise noted. 

• Denim is acceptable, so long as it is in good condition. Distressed, worn, or tattered jeans are not permitted.

• Sweatpants or any other fitness attire (including tight leggings or sorts) are not permitted in the clubhouse dining areas. Sweaters and non printed sweatshirts in good condition are acceptable.

• Men's golf shirts must remain tucked in at all times. Dressy casual shirts are not required to have a collar. Hawaiian-style tailored button-down shirts may remain untucked.

• Women’s tops may include tailored shirts, blouses, or dressy casual shirts.

• Printed t-shirts and sweatshirts are acceptable for minors but are not appropriate attire for adults and are not allowed in the clubhouse dining rooms, except on designated home-game days.

• Acceptable tennis attire is only permitted to be worn on the Deck.

• Men shall remove ball caps, hats, and visors when seated inside the clubhouse. When a hat is worn on Club property, the bill must remain facing forward.

The Golf Course Dress Code applies to the putting green, driving range, and practice areas. 

Golf Course Attire for Men shall consist of proper golf shirt with collar and tailored slacks or shorts. Golf shirts must remain tucked in at all times. Tank tops, t-shirts, gym shorts, cargo shorts, swimming pool or tennis attire are considered inappropriate. Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward. Shorts must be mid-thigh in length. Denim of any color is prohibited at all times.

Golf Course Attire for Women shall consist of proper shirts or sweaters, dresses, pants, skirts and shorts. Tops must have either a collar or sleeves. Racerback styles are permitted provided the garment has a collar. Shorts must be of a respectable length. Spandex, yoga pants, running tights or similar items may only be worn under shorts or skirts. Tank tops, bare midriffs, t-shirts, gym shorts, swimming pool or tennis attire are considered inappropriate. Denim of any color is prohibited at all times.

All members, their families and guests are required to dress appropriately for the activities in which they are engaged and as specified in the rules that are adhered to by members of Eugene Country Club. No member or their guest will be allowed to use the tennis courts if their appearance is inappropriate. Club staff will be responsible for maintaining the dress code as outlined below:
 
General – Only athletic shoes with soles acceptable for tennis courts are permitted on the courts. Street or basketball shoes are not allowed on the tennis courts. Warm-ups are acceptable for tennis play.

Men – Tennis shorts are preferred, however, golf or Bermuda shorts are acceptable. No gym shorts, jogging shorts, bathing suits or cutoff jeans are allowed. Tennis shirts with sleeves and collars are preferred; however, T-shirts with logos are acceptable. No sleeveless shirts are allowed.

Women – Tennis dresses, tennis shirts, tennis skirts or tennis shorts are preferred, however, golf skirts and golf shorts, Bermuda shorts and T-shirts with logos are acceptable. No bathing suits, gym shorts, jogging shorts or tube tops are allowed.

Juniors (aged 0 – 18) – All adult rules will apply to juniors

Proper swimming attire is required at all times, including bathing suits, board shorts, or rash guards. Cotton clothing, cut off jeans, Brazilian or G-string bathing suits are considered inappropriate attire and are not allowed. Cover-ups are required when leaving the pool en route to your car. Swimming attire, including cover-ups, may not be worn anywhere in the Clubhouse.

Appropriate swimwear for females must cover the breasts, buttocks, genitals and pubic regions.

Appropriate swimwear for males must cover the buttocks, genitals and pubic region.

Specifically street clothing, thongs, and see-through swimwear are prohibited.

For sanitary reasons, children under three should use the wading pool rather than the main pool. Even though our guards will be watching the wading pool, the primary responsibility is in the individual’s hands to watch their youngsters while they are using the wading pool.

No street shoes will be allowed in the lower deck area.

State law requires that a warm, soap shower without a suit, be taken before entering the swimming pool area.

All children less than 4 year of age must wear a swim diaper underneath their swimsuits:

• Children under the age of four (4) may be toilet‐trained on land, but they are not mature enough to assess when to leave the pool to find a restroom. Further, anyone who is not reliably toilet‐trained (six consecutive days without any accidents is considered reliable), or not in control of all bodily functions are also required to wear a swim diaper underneath their swimsuits. This is a common practice among public pools, which significantly reduced the incidence of pool closure due to fecal and/or urine contamination. Complimentary swim diapers are available at the Swimming Pool Office.
• Disposable diapers or swim diapers, (Huggies, combined with rubber, plastic, or vinyl pants) will not be acceptable. This combination is proven ineffective and disposable swim diapers contain materials that clog pool filters.
• When fitting for a swim diaper, please make sure to size by weight, not age. A swim diaper should fit snug on the waist as well as the thigh. It is not necessary to wear anything underneath.
• Once in the pool, please take your children for regular visits to the restroom to ensure those accidents are avoided. As an additional precaution, please do not bring your swimmer to the pool if he/she is ill or suffering from diarrhea.
